BAC Question

Is there a way to tell if your LT8s unit has the PWM option for the BAC installed?

screen 29 aux output screen has the auxAIRmin and max, auxRPMset ETC functions enabled

How do I tune the auxairmin and auxairmax values? I have the white wire connected to the ground on the BAC, and a 12V ign to the power side. The solenoid opens when I apply direct ground.

I can't affect the BAC valve no matter what values I give to auxairmin, auxairmax, and auxRPMset. Don't know what the problem is.

Can I still attach the blue/red "aux input" wire to the 12V signal off the a/c compressor in addition to using the MT's PWM to control idle?

My problem is similar to this gentleman's: http://performanceforums.com/forums/...php?t=67222496

Ok, so I have connected the blue/red input wire to the compressor wire to get 12V whenever I use the a/c.

Adjusting the InpAIRadd values did nothing to increase idle, the BAC has 12V switched as well as the white aux output wire connected. Any ideas?

lt8s wont have it.

Damn, why would the computer have those functions then? That's so bogus.

Thanks again, I really appreciate the help!

it's a generic tuning program that has options for virtually all microtech units but doesn't support them all.

Does anybody have information on how to run the factory ECU as a piggyback to control the IACV and OMP? I'm using an LT8S as well. I just ran a new Microtech harness and found out somethings can't be connected.

I don't think you'll be able to do that. You'd need to get the VR signal to the factory ECU and the Microtech, which probably won't happen unless you mount another set of VR sensors. And the factory ECU would need another complete set of temperature sensors and TPS.
