Auxfan output not working with temp activation. Plz help

So my relay is wired up correctly to my fan and it will turn on with rpm activation but won't turn on with temp activation, has anyone else had this problem ? Lt10s ecu

wthdidusay82 11-15-15 09:50 AM

Anyone ? I will probably just wire it up to a toggle switch, then later to a thermo.

Can you post a screenshot showing the settings? That's weird. I suspect that the aux output has a 2nd parameter set somewhere.

also make sure your microtech is reading the temp sensor correctly on the main screen.

I can take a pic but I assure you the settings were both set to off for rpm and map, no matter where I put the temp setting (even at zero) , it won't activate.

However it will activate with rpm activation, the thermosensor works and clearly gets a reading but it won't turn on.

Auxfan output not working with temp activation. Plz help

To my knowledge there are only 3 settings for the aux output #1

AuxRpm_On
AuxMap_On
AuxFan_On

Is there any other setting that could conflict with the function

Aaron Cake 11-21-15 10:16 AM

I can't think of a setting that would conflict other than the aux functions.

AuxMAP_ON and AuxRPM_ON must both be set to zero for AuxFAN_ON to work.

wthdidusay82 11-21-15 02:49 PM

By zero you mean off ? Also I tried using the map to turn on function and that will not work either. The only function that works is rpm on.

Don't understand what I'm doing wrong here.

Aaron Cake 11-22-15 09:35 AM

Don't remember if it is zero or "off". Maybe someone else can see if you post screen shots.

wthdidusay82 11-22-15 12:12 PM

Pretty sure it's off according to the manual

rx72c 12-14-15 07:31 PM

what colour wire did you use?

sounds like you used the wrong one

wthdidusay82 12-15-15 10:10 PM

Aux input 1 iirc

Aaron Cake 12-16-15 09:14 AM

INPUT?! There's your problem.

wthdidusay82 12-16-15 02:52 PM

Actually the problem was it was on on aux output 1, come to find out that's only used for rpm, aux output 2 is for the fan

rotorhead_izzy 04-07-16 01:57 PM

I have the same thing going on, mine is connected to output1, ill switch it to 2 ans see whats up
