anybody using matrix mode?

Seems that almost everyone I talk to is using the normal mode, anybody using matrix at all? I've been trying to figure out which method would suit me best, but seems very few people are using matrix.

I use matrix and find it alot easier to deal with. The tuner who did my car used normal mode and it never ran right. I was able to get the car to run alot better using matrix.
This is not to say matrix is any better.

I just find it alot easier using a wideband and a laptop to tune in matrix.

I use matrix mode. You get a lot more tuning resolution. When I was trying to tune in normal mode I often times felt like a change would help in some ways, but hurt in others. In matrix mode you can more easily change only what you want to.

I've messed with Matrix mode only once. I find it easier to optimize the map in Normal mode first, before messing with Matrix mode.

I remember reading in the microtech manual to get it running good in normal mode then switch over to matrix to fine tune it. I am in matrix mode to.

Thanks for the replies, didn't find much in the way of searching of anybody using it so I was starting to form kind of a fear of it since it seems so unfrequently used. I can't wait to get this thing going again.

I use matrix. I like it much better than normal.

I started with normal mode. It was a rough way of getting it tuned. Once I learned what I was doing I switched to matrix. Matrix is better tunning. More precise, easier to make specific adjustments. I like it better than "normal". Use "normal" as your baseline for "matrix". I also was able to tune for gas milage at cruising speeds.

Go matrix!!!

When I had my car it was in matrix mode.
