Air Temp. Sensor Problem !!

I think my Air inlet temp. sensor ( under the upper manifold) was working, not sure.. but now it is only reading -30C !!! the wires are connected.

Can some one help me with this problem ???

30C is about where it should be with the engine running, if it was faulty iirc the reading would be 0C, had an issue like that with the coolant temp sensor.

You cannot use *any* air temp sensor with the Microtech. You must use what the unit was programmed for. If it's an FD , an FD air sensor and if it's an FC , an FC air senor. The resistance is waay different between the two.
You have to use the same CAS, water temp and air temp sensor

Damn... the FD sensors are expensive :wallbash: i though i might save some money.. !!

Thanks guys for the input :)

Oo another thing.. could my Microtech be falty and thats why it is only reading -30C.. ???????????
Could someone tell me the posiblities why it is always reading - Negative degree??
