3rd tps on 2nd gen map?

Im running a 3rd gen UIM and TB on my car, the basemap on the LT-8s is for a 2nd gen. I cant get the TPS set right, are the 3rd gen and 2nd gen TPSs interchangeable when the microtech is set for the 2nd gen TPS?

tps is not model specific,

try loosinig the set screws and rotating the tps a little
