i have a ms II system with the v3 main board. im wiring the harness into the car now. i bout the wiring harness and the ecu already made. so now im stuck on what wires to cut to hook to my wiring harness so here is what i have
on my leading coil i have a pink and a tan
on my tps i have a red/black, green,tan
on my trailing coil i have a two prong connector with tan,tan and a 4 prong connector with red,yellow,white,black
ok then i have my harness
tps pig tail is blue,black,grey
trailing coil is blue/white,green/white
leading green/white
and then where do i hook my main power relay switch
so as i take it my tps wires should go like this red/black is ground hooks to black on my harness then blue hooks to tan and grey hooks to green
on leading coil i wanna cut the tan for the 5v lead and hook it to my green/white
on my trailing coil i would want to cut the two tan wires and hook to blue/white, green/white
does all this sound right if not help me out really need my car running

I am assuming when you say bought, that you mean you purchased the MS and harness used from a previous running car.

Before you use my writeup as a basis to wiring the car with an unknown Megasquirt, you absolutely need to open up the 'Squirt and verify that the internal wiring matches my writeup. A person can wire their 'Squirt any which way they want during the build and obviously if it doesn't match my writeup, it won't work.
Really, you need to sit down with a glass of whatever alcoholic beverage you prefer and read my entire writeup start to finish. I'm betting it will answer 99.532% of your questions.

aaron you are right i just went threw the mega squirt and it is now wired fully to the car. everything matched your write up. thanks alot everyone. now to start learning how to tune!!!
