rx8 mode / coil on plug
I came across info on this somewhere but cant find it. Maybe someone can help
In COP mode, should you still be able to check the trailing timing the same as you would leading? just clip on the light and check it?
When I check my trailing timing it looks to be 180 out. I swear i read somewhere that you loose the ability to manually check it with COP setup though.

A timing light should still read correctly on the trailing plug wires. I've done it to confirm split timing using 4x FC trailing coils. If you are 180 out you likely have trailing coils wired to the wrong rotor. The wiring is different for MS2/extra and MS3. I like to verify output channels with a timing light and test mode.
