Problem loading firmware
I had the "standard" firmware installed. I finished building the ECU finally, and decided that I needed to install the one that Ken recommended for rotary application.
http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms2extra/...e_20100123.zip I go to install the file named ms2_extra_us.s19. Installed the bootload jumper, hooked up to computer, powered up, started up the downloader, selected the above mentioned file, started going. Got about 36% done, said I had an error. I've probably done something simple & stupid. Got any ideas? this is what it says: ERROR: Stack pointer out of range, e=0xE3 Elapsed time 8.17 seconds. |
You have to use the .bat file we put in the firmware zip file to load the firmware. The standard ms2 loader won't work.
Also, the _us.s19 file is for microsquirt. Ken |
I didn't know what the difference was. I figured the _us.s19 file was a more recent version or something.
This learning curve is so steep. I'll get it one of these days :) Thanks again Ken. |
Been doing it so long sometimes I forget.

Yeah! Got it working great now!! Kind of exciting for a first timer.
When I go to calibrate the afr table though, it doesn't have my wideband listed. I have an NGK powerdex wideband. Which option should I choose? Generic linear WB, DIY WB, etc? |
