Looks great!

Is that assembled, kit with parts, or bare board?

It's a nice compact design. I'm planning on 1 VR circuit, EGT, and two output circuits. Who knows maybe boost control later on.

I'd like to suggest that you also list the connections to be compatible with the V3.0 board.

Good work. Thanks.

make sure you post when they are ready.

The pricing is just for the board, the components come out to around $43 ($25 of that is just for the EGT Logging IC alone, so if you don't need that feature then so be it) from Digikey. This daughter board is completely compatible with the MS V3.0 PCB.

I'll buy one. It still works with MS 2.2 using MSnS-E right?

error* 08-31-05 01:14 AM

yeah

Kenku 08-31-05 10:41 AM

Oh sweet! I was hoping someone would come up with something like that...

jayroc 08-31-05 11:10 AM

Yeah, I'll definitely take one, then. Just let me know when/where to send cash.

The Griffin 08-31-05 09:42 PM

Hey, what happened to you, error? Don't want to sound pushy, but I was wondering..

haha... Just picked up the boards and have the final pricing. I'll pick up the digial camera and take some pics. I want to populate a board before I start selling.

Jacob,

What are the outer dimensions of the board? I'm wondering if it will fit in the stock ECU with the MS board.

Cool. This is the last piece of the puzzle for me to complete my conversion to FC ignition..
Thanks for the update!
Appreciate the effort in making the board, as well. There are other boards out there but this one is the best and most inclusive, I think. Especially for rotaries..

I think what you want to know, rex4life, is here:

BTW, I dont know if you've tested EGT logging yet, but I can test it whenever I get my board in..

Scott,

Here's a pic showing the early prototype board mounted inside the std MS box. More details are here:

Roger.

Hey thanks Roger. Yea I saw that thread a long time ago and guess I can't find where it mentions the outer dimensions of the board. But from your pic, it looks like it fits in the standard MS case so I should be able to figure it out.

so I can use the V3 board in std config and the Msns-e Firmware and your board and get everything I need running through the singe DB75 cable out to the relay board in the engine bay??

please say yes and I will quit poking Muiythai with a stick to build me one.. :)

And we can order all this via glens garage..

am I correct sir!?

you wouldn't be using a db75 cable... the cable is a DB37... other than that you should be able to do what you said if you build the v3 board correctly. Also, the relay board doesn't support any of the ignition stuff... so you'd need to run some of the wires from the db37 out of the megasquirt directly from the CAS (4 wires) and directly to your ignitors (3 wires).

doridori-rx7 09-14-05 03:07 PM

ok then.. thanks muythai I think I can let you off the hook ;) for a build and do this myself..

is this the same board that you can add optional WB)2 to as well?? I rember seeing a pic of this board In some stage of design that had a few other functions included one was a WB02 decoder ... ?
