Engine Idles Then Dies: Missing Something In The DataLogs?!?!
I have a 13B TII swapped Miata that I've been trying to get running on Megasquirt DIYPNP. I've got another turbo Miata running on the same ECU, so I'm pretty familiar with tuning MS myself; however, this problem baffles me.
I just got the car running, and have been faced with this issue where it doesn't want to stay idling. It will crank and start fine, but then only idle for about 10-20 seconds before it stalls. It's extremely consistant which makes me thing it's something in the tune, but I've taken out all the variables like WE, AE, after start enrich, cold advance, etc. The engine should be running purely off the tables, and yet it still stalls after 20 seconds or so. Immediately after it stalls I'm able to start it up again and have it do the same thing.
I've verified...
I've attached a datalog of the issue (as well as my tune and .ini file). Notice how the RPM slowly climbs to a point and then all of a sudden the engine dies. I can't seem to find anything in the log that would hint at why this is happening.

I've verified...
- Fuel pump is fine (tried hard wiring pump... still dies)
- Cleaned spark plugs
- Battery voltage is fine

Unfortunately the forum won't allow a download of the MSL file for some silly reason. Returns a blank page.
That said, based on your description it sounds like the engine is leaning out. Add a load more fuel to the VE table around where it idles.
