Made the plunge, almost there
Before I was torn on a fuel only, microsquirt, or a bigger carb, long story short I went with a full MS2 w/ zeal setup off a board member. Everything is pretty strraight forward but before I power up this unit in my car I want to run my diagram by the gurus here.
A lot of diagrams are for adapting into a stock harness operated car. This car is a race car so it has its own custom harness so the ignition power, fuel pump, e-fan, chassis/lights and etc are on their own harness(es). There is zero OEM harness left in this car. So based on this diagram: http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/megasq..._schematic.gif I have wired it this way (to integrate into existing harness) http://picoolio.net/images/2015/12/3...image3e0e6.png I need a sanity check before I start this thing up with battery power and accidentally fry my "new" ecu. What do you guys think? Does this look okay? I am using the two identical fuse blocks in two different ways. |
If you can, use one of your spare switched fuse slits to power the switched 12V for the fuel pump and fan relay coils. If you somehow choose to remove power to just the MS fuse box and the relays use a different power source, it's possible for them to keep the MS on.

Doesn't look like there is anything immediately wrong with that.
