The title sort of says it all, I'm thinking about dropping in a MegaSquirt system for the FC.. It's a S4 NA, and I have soldering skills, so I can assemble it myself.. I also already have a laptop for tuning. I'm going to be running on the stock injectors, possibly adding a supercharger this season running around 6PSI boost.

How have these been working out for FC guys?

 

Without running the numbers in my head, I'd guess the cost would be around $200. My MS came to about that. This doesn't include the cost of converting from a carbed piston engine to an injected rotary, so the EFI fuel pump and other misc stuff wasn't counted.

 

Okay, so the cost seriously does stay around 200 I'm probably goign to be goign this route, but It's often hard to get an actual estimate of the project. I'm thinking with a wideband O2, I'm looking at about $250 or so total... definatly affordable
