flashing fan/output4 megatune
I have fan output turned on and the fan/output 4 keeps flashing. There is another fan/w inj that stay on. Does this mean anything. I have not use this on the car just bench test my timing setup. It is hard to tell if it will work or not.

Make sure that you don't have tachometer output turned on, and check the fan outputs in "codebase and outputs" to see what output the fan output is set to use.

I can't find the tachometer output. I have the fan output on x2 and everything else turn off. The 3 led controll the coils and that is it.
|
I'll find it when I get home if someone else doesn't find it first.... and let you know where it is and how to make sure it's turned off.
EDIT: Output 4 is one of the LED's, so that's going to flash on and off all the time since you're using led18 for spark. |
I can't get a tach signal with the stim. I can get rpm when I hook up the CAS. I wanted to get my engine running on feul only just to test and break in the engine. But I can't seem to get a tach signal. The engine is a fresh bridgeport rebuild. I don't even know if the engine will even start.

you won't get one with the stim when you're set up for using the CAS... If you have the wheel decoder set up, you can go to the "stim for wheel" option, turn it on, and set it to 2... but MAKE SURE YOU TURN THIS OFF BEFORE PUTTING IT IN THE CAR!
Also, to run fuel only, all the wheel decoder and ignition settings will have to be turned off, and you'll have to hook up to the negative terminal of whatever you end up using for a leading coil. |
