Configuration/settings for Bridgeport?

Hi all,

Been using a MS1v3 on my S4 13BT for a couple of years now, and I'm stoked with results. The engine was fully-rebuilt at time of MS install and is stock-standard running at 5psi boost max.

This winter I will be pulling the engine out and giving it a full-cut bridgeport treatment using Pineapple racing templates.

My questions are:

1. Are there any fundamental changes to make to the configuration/settings in MegaTune?

2. How drastic will the changes be to the timing map?

3. How drastic will the changes be to the fuel map?

4. Can you suggest any sort of scale-factor to be applied to the VE table as a rough ball-park to commence the re-tune?

5. Any other hints/tips that will lessen the learning curve when re-tuning the bridgeport?

Thanks in advance for any info based on your experience!

From my car I needed more timing down low and less up top. And it was the opposite with the fuel. But it needed a little richer mixtures all around to keep it drivable. I suggest you upgrade to ms3. Sequential fuel with help the bridge run better.

Thanks for the info 13bdarren. Will I struggle to get my MS1v3 to run the bridge? Am I likely to get drivability issues if I don't upgrade?
