Attn muythaibxr: ms2 v3.0 firmware 3.3.1. Car does not run correctly
Thanks for viewing and helping. My problem is that I upgraded to IGN1A coils and uploaded latest firmware from 3.1.0 tsuitable I cannot get her running correctly at all. The car ran well with the fc coils. This is on a 88 rx7 turbo. I could not even get it running without switching front coil leading and trailing. Is this firmware not stable to run a rotary in cop setup? I'll post msq when I get home

Which one of these should I use with the 3.3.1 firmware?
I'm currently using this one: Spk A - front rotor leading Spk B - front rotor trailing Spk C - rear rotor trailing Spk D - rear rotor leading Should I be using this one? It seems more logical especially with how hard it is to get started and runs extremely rough. Spk A Front Leading coil Spk B Rear Leading coil Spk C Front trailing coil Spk D Rear trailing coil |
I think that the one that you are currently using its the right one but I don't know if something change on the latest code

Got the car running by putting the settings as a 4cyl 2600cc and wasted COP with the above coil outputs. Any one have an idea why its running great like this but not under COP rotary? Its weird to me.

I don't know if it will help, but try emailing Matt Cramer at DIY and let him know. I had a few questions myself and he asked for a datalog and msq of my recent tune. One thing in particular being that the duty cycles displayed on screen show negative numbers instead of positive numbers. Doesn't affect the tune though and runs great in fact. He told me that the negative duty cycles look like they're a code bug in rotary engine duty cycle calculations. He thanked me for bringing it to his attention and said it would be fixed with the next firmware update. Either way, hope you get it figured out or that the next firmware update fixes it! |

hey men I think that I found a problem on your 13bre 36-1 trigger msq.
1.engine size should be 1300cc 2.engine stroke change it to rotary |
I've had the same problems, my tune is completely fucked now after the firmware change from 3.2.1 to 3.3.1 and I can't seem to correct it, no matter what I do.
I think I'll go back to 3.2.1 and forego the IGN-1A's. |
Try doing what I did. Change it to a 2600cc 4cyl, 4 stroke format and see if it runs better. Sounds like a bug in the rotary code. Hopefully muythaibxr chimes in on this problem

have you try to run the car on leading coils only
|
I will take a look at the various msqs on the scope at some point in the next day or two.
