MAP limit quick tip
While doing some street tuning at 198 kPa I found that with the MAP limit set to 210 it would sometimes kick in around 203-205. After setting the limit to 215, I had no issues. So I'd recommend setting the limit to around 15 over your desired boost level to account for slight fluxuations without hitting the hard limit.

What size MAP sensor are you running?

interesting... i have the 4 bar external with my V88 and will check it.

This is simple math. 0-400kpa map sensor on a 0-5v scale is 0.125v per 10kpa. Let say you use a 0-300kpa sensor it is 0.167 per 10kpa and 0-250kpa is 0.2v per 10kpa. Or you can look a the total amount of the sensor being used. If you will only see 250kpa max on your 4bar sensor you will only use 62% of the map sensor scale. Again, don't think this is very bad unless your sensor is almost double the amount of the max manifold pressure you will see or if you are picky and want to maximize your resolution.

I mainly wanted to share the info so other's wont run into the same Issues that I did. I do not have an external MAP sensor installed. I am only using the internal 4 Bar sensor that came with the ECU. Believe the same sensor is also installed in the following Link / ViPec units:
Vipec: V44 Link: G4 Storm G4Plus Storm G4 Atom G4 RX |
