Falito's car is ready!
7.9 @ 163mph, 1.09 60 ft, his first pass on the car :bigthumb:

My favorite rotary racer in the world! Still off the pace but can't wait to see if it can break 6's with a 13B. Does anyone know his engine setup? I still love the sound that his old setup made with the carbs. I haven't heard any rotary sound that good ever. And to think he was running 7's with carbs. Congrats to Falito and continued success.

One of my idols!

By the mid 80's when Mustangs and Camaros were starting to perform somewhat acceptable 12A's were already plentiful in shops so was Nitrous, V8's were getting seriously spanked on the street, your average upgraded rotary and 4cyl were at about mid-low 13's, the smallest carbs you would see were Holley 650 and Weber/Dellorto 48 were the rule and gazillion speed shops and performance shops to choose from all across the island. So there you go....that's why...we've been doing this for a long long time... |

The first time I went to Salinas Speedway I was 10 years old (1980) and there were tons of full race R-100's and RX's well into the 12's.
