Utilising Noltec ‘Softride’ material, engineers have developed mounts that were extremely flexible, absorbent, robust and also restrictive. By adding a ‘gate’ design concept to the mount, the mount locks and becomes a solid under heavy acceleration loads. By locking, the mounts restrict torque roll and prevent further loss of power output. All of the mounts from Noltec’s range incorporate this gate or ‘Torque Motion Restrictor’.
