only two sample kits were made, the full CF kit was custom made for Chris, and the FRP kit was made for MotoTek (Mike) who just picked up his kit 5 mins ago

And Mike is getting his kit fitted and painted within this week or so as far as I was told. So we shall see more finished/installed pics coming soon.

The 05 version will with some or no modification depending on what bumper you are fitting it on since it does not have that front lip that comes up like the 02 version. The 02 version has a front lip design that wraps around the lip of the bumper.

I should have test fitment pics by thursday, and it should be painted within a week and a half the most depending on if I decide to mold in the rear or not; which might take longer.

Gaijin samurai, sorry, we do not have any plans for the 02 since 05 is really similar and we do not see a big market for the 02 after our 05 is released.

jknapik, we will be moving on to the hood soon. Right after the widebody is done. As we stated before, the hood will be the last to go so please bear with us. For the wing, we do not see enough interest here so we will need more ppl.

Took a full day... probably started working on it around 10:30 and stopped around 8 or so... Everything went together fairly easy it was figuring out the puzzle pieces since all the directions were in Japanese I just kinda had to guess which bolts went where... lol

So did you get your CF kit from JKL?

Is it safe to assume that the kits should be ready soon?

Well its hard to assume fitment quality with the FRP kit since that is what everyone else is getting... I did get my CF kit from them but since the carbon is not flexible at all there was a few areas that were kinda a pain in the *** since it would not flex at all... As long as those places arent a problem with the FRP then it should be a green light... I was actually pretty amazed at how easily everything went on even with it having no flex at all... I am sure the production pieces will be getted started here pretty soon...
