So I know next to nothing about RX-7's but recently bought a very cheap one off of craig's list and hope to have the money to start working on it soon. Found this site and realized I could do most of the work myself and jumped on it. It has a little front end damage and has been sitting for a few years. But I'm going to do this stuff http://www.aaroncake.net/rx-7/unstore.htm and then hopefully get it running. I have figured out from this site and the VIN that it's a 1988 (the guy told me 87) 13B non-turbo. Plan on doin all the reliability mods as soon as find them. :) Apparently the original owner put 20,000 miles on it (some old couple) and it always sat in the garage. The guy i got it from put the milage up to 94K and then rearended a van and just let it sit since then. Looks like most of the body is good. Needs new hood, front right quarter panel, and nose assembly, probably radiator core support, and new radiator, that's about it from what I can see. They said it ran when they parked it. So that's my story, can't wait to get it running!
