Hey guys, finally got around to making an account. Unfortunately I can only post in the new member section of the forum. I love this car and have devoted many hours of my time to learning about this JDM classic. I have experience driving my Porsche 2004 911, generic trucks and what not, and my audi s4. I am eventually looking to get into the market for R1/R2 models. Any thoughts?

You are obviously talking about third gens since you said R1/R2. All I can say is that I love my car to death and I'm never getting rid of it. Add oh... most often than not, when prior owners sell off their rides they tend to come back after a couple of years... It's that kind of car ;)

Welcome! I would prefer the R1 due to the stiffer ride. Mazda numbed the R2 a little but both are amazing cars and I would proudly own either.
