The Rotary journey begins!
 

Hey there,
So just last summer I picked up my 1988 Mazda RX-7 10th Anniversary edition. I have big plans for the car. As it sits now, it's got the classic peely-paint accustomed to many 10aes, but the rust is reserved mostly to the surface of fenders. I joined the forum to get more info on how certain things in my car work and to buy stuff from reputable people (not the typical marketplace scammer). Also, as this marks my first post on the forum, I plan to buy an FD in 3 years time starting this summer, just want that there to show the starting point. If anyones wondering the spec my car is in right now (pretty much how I bought it):
- RB dual tip y-pipe
- Straight pipe downpipe/midpipe (was literally one pipe from turbo to the RB y-pipe, but I needed to add a cat and res for inspection, so ig not straight pipe anymore lol)
- Apexi S-AFC (its unplugged, I have no idea where it's supposed to plug in though)
- FMIC kit (it says greddy, but I haven't seen this type of FMIC anywhere online)
there could be other mods done to it (like FCD or chipped ECU to combat grenading the engine because it made 13psi on a cold day before I added the cat and res) but I don't even know where to look for that lol.
My goals for this build are to S5 convert it and keep the badging, and get around 300-340 reliable horsepower. I'll make a follow-up post for my questions building up a new exhaust for my car. Cheers!
