Hello All,

I'm hoping to get back into the rotary world after an 8 year absence. I had an NA FC GTU briefly back in college and when I let it go I promised myself I would own another one, this time an FD. Having just bought my wife a new car ('15 Cayenne S E-Hybrid) and finishing up the restoration on my dads old truck ('99 Sierra 1500) I am in a place where I can justify returning to the rear wheel drive two seater life for my fair weather daily. I am currently DDing a '17 Golf R (lapis, 6 speed manual), but I am either looking to trade it directly for a suitable FD or to sell it and buy one. The FC was a revelatory experience for me, it was the first proper drivers car I ever encountered from behind the wheel and it taught me that a good car was about much more than just performance, I have never driven an FD but I gather it is even better and with looks like that I am looking for a companion for life. There is a blue single turbo '94 listed in the for sale section as well that I really like the look of. The seller is open to trades for a DD but my response to his post is stuck in mod approval limbo and I don't have enough posts to PM the seller :(
