Re-entering the FD scene - and my crazy cars
I used to own an FD from around 2000-2004 when I lived in the UK. I loved that car like no other.
Here's a photo of it: http://www.fduk.org/Meets/2003/JapFe.../Images/12.jpg After that photo I fitted some MS-01s and I drove it around Europe with my cousin. We managed 12 countries in 12 days. I have some great FD stories from that trip. Anyway, I sold the car and recently moved to the USA. Since I got here last year I've already started building up a new collection of crazy cars. I picked up a stock DeLorean about 18 months ago and using 6 years of research I'd done, I started converting it into a Back To The Future car. Here's a photo of that car from where we drove it on the railroad tracks (same location they used in Back To The Future Part III at the end): http://www.bttf.com/tyfoon/site/fcke...DMC_Tracks.jpg I also have a huge Cadillac Hearse I'm converting into a Ghostbusters car. My lady owns a "sensible" 2005 Toyota Celica. And we also have a 1978 Mini that I couldn't bear to leave behind in the UK. So - here I am, ready to start a new RX-7 adventure! |
Welcome.
I thought Brits moved to places with better weather than the UK. But you moved to Chicago eh... :) Just kidding. I'm also a Mini fan. Have an 06 and would like to guy a classic sometime. Good luck with the cars. |

Buying gas for my FD in the UK almost bankrupted me. I'm also a Mini fan. Have an 06 and would like to guy a classic sometime. Good luck with the cars. |
Welcome...here's to someone who can enjoy a wide range of vehicles! Cheers!
