that one guy with stripes on his FD

Hi Everyone,

i have been a member for about a year now(thanks for the add by the way), but have neglected introducing myself. march 30th of last year, i bought a sweet, completely stock, FD for a pretty reasonable price. i am currently going over the whole vehicle trying to prepare it for the track. Next on the bucket list is stand alone ECU, catalytic converter delete, and further maintenance.

i once used to dream about LS swapping a FD, but after learning about the Rotary, i fell in love. my car was not running correctly when i first purchased it, so i had kind of went out on a limb hoping that the engine was fine. i had not driven a rotary powered car at the time and i was itching to get my car running ASAP. Turns out all the car needed was new gas, plugs, oil, and a ground wire bolted back down. she ran like a dream after that. Safe to say, i was hooked. the turbo transition is still a little funky and i hope to have that worked out soon. it's a tad cold in SE Michigan and the parts are stacking up. once the temp stays above 32 for more than a few hours i'll finally be able to wrench on my car without freezing my butt of in my non-heated garage.

feel free to comment on what ECU, suspension, and exhaust set-up, you like the most

here is a picture of my FD(i really dont like the stripes, but they are painted on. they will be eradicated in the future.) -
