Old member, new username
 

What up everyone, I'm an old member from ~2000s but I've lost access to my account previously made. Anyway I've been into RX-7's since I was in my teens, and have had a few (See sig). I ended up selling right before starting college back in 05 and haven't owned one again until this year 2018. Finally I'm back in the game, and have money to actually build up the car right. I'm starting with a 93 VR touring, bose, all of the "fancy" stuff from back in the day that no longer works. Everything on the car is original, exhaust, engine bay, etc so I'm just going through stuff now and doing basic maintenance. I've also acquired a PFC and datalogit from a forum member here (thanks for the fast shipping Coldie) and now have some ability to tell what's going on inside the engine. Look forward to more RX-7 stuff, I'll probably be buying non-stop for a while. My intentions for this purchase were to get a normal edition FD with a good body/bones and have something that I can drive without worrying about putting miles on it, etc (Rich and his 1k mile car and Amp and his SSM come to mind). I plan on getting another FD in the future of the 94/95 variety in Chaste White that will be more of a garage queen and weekender. I plan on driving this VR car a decent amount. Photos are from the day of purchase at the old owners house. Everything on the car works, A/C, cruise control, etc etc.
