NM Newbie in NM with a 93 FD.

So I am new to the world of RX7's. My friend has a red FD, and I have known a couple people with FC's. I have liked them but never really considering buying one. So couple of weeks ago a 1993 Montego Blue FD came up for sale and I just couldn't resist and I got it for a fairly decent price. So now I am on here to learn a thing or to and ask questions.
Thanks

Where u at Pug? I just picked up a silver FD in ABQ about a month ago! She needs some love and I'll be poking around here quite a bit for plastic parts (or carbon fiber replacements). I've had her out to the strip 1x so far and ran 14.9 (only my second time driving at a drag strip ever!). My buddy pulled a 14.4...he raced a little too much on the street as a younger man

O nice, is that the one that was on craigslist from Rio Rancho? I am over on the westside, but I am over working on getting it running at my shop.

Yep, it was on Craigslist as the silver one. What shop is that? What kind of work do you do? Mine was running and mostly needed some old vacuum ports plugged from the swap to parallel instead of sequential Did you pick up the one with the tranny not installed?

Ahh Cool, I was going to go check that one out but it was sold by the time I could. Nah mine is complete, it just doesn't run, the motor is pretty wacked. Its an automatic but I got a 5 speed with it. Doing alot of work to it so far, going to pull the engine this week and get it going. The shop that I now have is I am going to be working on cars, and buying specific cars at auction and parting them out.

Sweet, if you come across black interior FD pieces send me a message first. I'm in need of a new door handle cup, map pocket lid, and the plastic piece that goes over the electronic drivers side window switch. Any plans on your first buy and part-out car?

Nice find. FDs are my favorite. I don't know how many were made ,but they are hard to get.
