Newbie on the block!

Hey guys! So I just picked up my first RX-7! I've never had any experience with them or any Mazda for that matter. I come from the DSM-world and I have more than the average joe's "know how" on cars but i'm not extremely talented by any means. I parted out my 92 eclipse gsx and I saved the motor to do a stock rebuild on it at some point. I was in need for a DD that I would be able to start up everyday and drive wherever I had to go so, obviously, another DSM wasn't the choice. I had always liked rx-7's as my buddies step-brother had a turbo II that I remember loving when I first saw it. Although, this time around I wasn't even looking for one. I was actually looking at several other cars like bmw's and audi's and such. I happened to be searching for miata's one day and the post on CL came up for the '86 rx7. From what I read on the post it seemed too good to be true as it only has 96k miles on the car, always garaged and hasn't seen a winter in it's whole life. I email the guy and needless to say, it was exactly how it looked in the post. The shell is in crazy mint shape as well as the motor. He replaced the TOB 4k miles ago and the clutch still grabs nice and grabs low to the floor. It's lowered 1.5" on Koni adjustable struts and has name-brand springs that I can't think of off the top of my head. Absolutely NO rust on the car whatsoever, and the interior is really clean. The car comes with another motor that came with the car when the previous owner bought it but he never had to put it in and figured he would send it off with the car to me as he has no need for it. The guy I bought it from has a bmw, audi, and a 94 fd that he's in the process of building so this guy knows his stuff and I have a really good feeling about this car. With all of that being said, I have no knowledge of these wankel motors and am probably going to have many newb questions but I do learn pretty quickly so bear with me and I hope to have many good times with this car and you guys! Thanks for the space!
