new to rx7's
Hello everyone, my name is Cal and I just purchased my first rotary car a few weeks back...its a white 1990 TII. Already it has some problems, but im hoping it will make a good project car :) hopefully it stays running as ive come across a few mechanical problems already hahah.

The cars can be finicky when they're a bit old and the previous owner didn't do all the maintenance stuff they should've been doing as the owner of a rotary engine. Hopefully, it will be minor stuff that's easy to diagnose and research with this website.
Welcome aboard to RX-7 Club, Cal! Congrats on the new acquisition! Mario III |
do a N/A swap if you just want to drive it.
it'll last longer and cheaper to keep. I sold my last T2 after it blew the motor 2nd time. Now I just want a stock running car, rotary or piston don't matter. |
hey, thanks guys. i will definitely be using this site a lot...
I dont really mind if the 7 is reliable or cheaper, its not my daily driver, just a project car for fun. im not sure if the previous owner did any of the proper maintenance stuff, so i guess in the few upcoming weeks ill be doing those myself :) gonna get to have some fun already hehe |
