Hi everyone,

I live in England, bought my FD about a year ago, it conviniently only needed a map... 300miles after mapping the engine blew.. it's currently going through a full overhaul and a build thread will be started soon... Here's a pic of how it looked beforehttps://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...32fed8481.jpeg

Nice car!

Weird question, is the Efini Emblem on the front bumper stock in the UK or was it added on afterwards?

Car was imported from Japan, I believe all Japanese cars had the emblem on the front and rear bumpers

Ahh, that makes sense. I think I read somewhere that there were more imported FDs then sold through dealerships in the UK.
We generally don't have any imported FDs in the states due to importation laws requiring cars to be at least 25years old. FD should be available right about now though.

Yes that's correct... It was an extremely small number of FDs sold in the UK, probably because they were about the same price as a Porsche 911..
Im aware of the 25 year rule, that must suck..
another thing is cars here are also RHD, makes importing a much more practical option
