Ok cool, thanks!! I'll definitely keep you in mind if I need something. Right now I'm in the process of taking the fuel tank down. I have to replace all the fuel lines before I attempt to to getting it started.

Tha k you for sharing the pictures of your car. Any idea why the car was parked for so long? Glad to see that you're bringing the car back to life! The body looks pretty rough, but it can all be repaired.

 

From what he told me, he bought the car from someone and then his daughter drove it back and forth to school. I think he said she got a new car and just parked this one in the barn and it sat there since then. Yeah the body has some rust but its manageable.

 

I am at stryker Ohio with my currently non running 85 s. maybe when mine is running and has paint, we can meet up and throw some ideas to each other, Toledo isn't to far out from me.

I've got my 83 down in the Dayton area. I've had nothing but fuel and ignition issues since I bought the car. Hopefully all goes well for you, the cursed fuel system in my car is driving me crazy.

 

You just have to love the stock 12a air cleaner! Good luck bringing it back to life!
