New RX7 FD Owner

Hi all,

I have recently purchased a RX7 FD3S import and just wanted to introduce myself.

I have had the car for little over a week and am still very much getting used to her, my last car was a Skoda Fabia VRs 1.9TDi so its quite a change haha!

There are a few things the old owner did not know about the car that I would like to find out (he didn't do the mods) such as what injectors the car has or who did the bridgeporting (I believe this to be WGT Auto: WGT Auto Developments Ltd who I have contacted for more information. I am still to have a proper look at the turbo and how this is configured. I am very much new to modified cars and just want to be sure it is as healthy as possible.

Is there any way to know what injectors the car has without taking them out? I have attached some pictures and can provide more if required.

The car starts hot and cold fine and the turbo kicks in about 4k-5k.

I was just wondering if anyone had some general tips? I've done a fair bit of research but it seems hard to decipher whats true or not.

I am using high octane fuel and will be using Idemitsu premix when it arrives.

Am i right in thinking if i need to move the car a small distance (say from the road to my drive) then i should let it warm up? if so how warm? warm enough for the idle to settle down (around 1k)? As I am aware that you can flood the engine if not careful.

Any general (or specific) help or advice is appreciated.

Regards,
David
