New to Rotary motor. 88 Vert

Hi.
Proud owner of a 1988 RX-7 Vert.
Awesome condition, minus a few blemishes you expect from a 20 yr. old car.
I've been reading up alot on rotaries and hope to get a full understanding of them soon.
Basic mods installed when I bought the car include a Mazdaspeed airfilter, Monza Exhaust, and a front strut tower bar.
Hope these images work...

Don't worry, the bra has come off :nono:

Welcome! Nice 'vert. Since that Mazdaspeed air filter has replaced the stock filter box, there is no need for that intake snorkel above the fan shroud and radiator. If I had the same mod, I would remove the snorkel and replace the fan shroud with the Corksport shroud. It doesn't have the "dent" on the top to make room for the snorkel. You can see it here:

It's the 4th item down.

How does the car run?

The car runs great. It's still running strong with 158,000 miles.
I'll have to put some pics up soon with the bra off and now it's all washed and waxed.
I thought most the convertibles were autos, so I was surprised to find this one was a 5 speed.

Yeah, I just bought the car this weekend. I'll be doing some small things here and there, but for now it's going to stay mostly factory. I'm looking to maybe upgrade the brakes and add adjustable coilovers next year so I can autocross it.
