Picked up my JDM RHD 1997 Touring-X with the oddball glass sunroof and a homebrew manual swap car on Jan 2nd 2018.




The local owner's club (West Coast Rotary) seems to have a lot of stories to tell about the history of this car and its previous owner..... Anyway I know nothing about rotary other than that it's going to drink like an alcoholic, gets feverish easily and sometimes give in the towel when the going gets tough. LOL.

So far the car is great it came with:
- RE Amemiya wheels
- RE Amemiya front lip
- Apexi Power FC
- Pivot full auto turbo timer
- 99 bodykit

I have since sold everything I have crossed out above. Looking to keep it clean and maybe at most +alpha and keep it for as long as it doesnt want me dead.

I have been working out all the kinks and issues with the car so far:
- Door handle didn't work
- heat didn't work due to leaky radiator
- wheel stud was broken
- powerFC did not have a commander and I borrowed one for now
- AST was leaking

These are still obvious problems that are to be resolved:
- water ingress from hatch
- a/c needs a recharge / repair
- ABS light is lit
- interior door panels are ruined
- exterior driver door is ruined

Anyway lots of random problems we are working through the list, and hopefully by Summer I have a working rotary basher I can track lightly once or twice? Not gonna ask for a lot. Hope you like it!
