Hi all, my son just purchased a 1980 RX7 for $2900. He then had to get a new engine, for about $3000, with the core charge included. Now he needs a new catalytic converter. It seems like we are really going to need your experience and expertise with this car.

Welcome to the site. Even the newer RX-7's can be difficult cars to own for people who do not do their own wrenching, I am sure the forums will have some good tips so he can start working on it himself if he wants to. Best of luck with the car!
