New member. Not an RX-7 owner
Hi everyone!
Just joined this forum to learn more about 7s and what this community is up to. As the title says, I'm not an owner of one at the moment but absolutely love their styling and the uniqueness of their powerplant. Maybe someday :fingersx: I currently drive a Lotus Exige for a fun car. I'll post a picture if anybody is interested. |

She gets up to speed pretty quickly. Feels more like an NA car than an FI one. Even though the weight difference compared to most cars is pretty substantial, it definitely took me by surprise.
It's an experience driving it. Gotta empty your hands and pockets before you can climb into (or out of) it. Once you're in you're basically seating in an aluminum tub with its side sills coming so far up you can use them as arm rests. When you get going you're greeted with a smooth exhaust note highlighting Yamaha's influence in the motor, supercharger whine a few inches behind your head, and a very quick non-assisted steering wheel in front of you. |
