New Member, New FD owner, 4th RX, Grand Slam Complete!
Hey guys,
I just joined recently, after purchasing a 93FD. I also own a 2009 RX8 R3, and I am a previous owner of an 82 GSL, and an 88 convertible. Does that qualify as a career grand slam?! This FD is awesome. I found it on Craigslist in FL, and it turned out to be a one-owner car with 72k miles on it. Mostly stock, except for an aftermarket air intake. No rebuild yet, but compression is between 113-116. A special bonus was the original window sticker stuffed inside the owner manual jacket. It has its share of gremlins: airbag light, window regulator, inop fog lights, etc. But let the fun begin! I live in Northern Virginia, so let me know if there is an RX club around here. Welcome! There are more of us around here than it feels like Several owners are off the forum or seldom post. Here is the most active local thread: https://www.rx7club.com/ne-rx-7-foru...941319/page51/ What part of NoVA are you in? |
Freaking awesome find mate

I always love seeing a stock fd. Those body lines! |
I get nowhere near that sticker advertised mileage on my car, more like 10mpg, (only bolt ons with 12psi boost) lol

I live in Haymarket, VA. I met an FD owner from Manassas at cars & coffee Great Falls, but that was before I bought this one. He was from Manassas, I believe. White FD with a single big turbo. |
beautiful car!
congratulations! |
nice find!

Wow, great buy.
Even with the original window sticker. A lot of owners would just toss those out which is unfortunate. It's like finding gold if the car came with one. |
