Hi all, my name is Zach and I'm the newest member to the RX-7 Club! I currently am driving a Mazda 6s as my daily driver and my project (and baby) is a 1987 RX-7 with 51K miles on the odometer. The RX-7, despite having almost unheard of mileage on it has been in the family for the entire life of the car. My uncle bought it brand new from the dealership in 1986, and it has stayed within my family ever since. My father bought the car from my uncle in 2002, and it has sat in our barn ever since. It pains me to say this, but my dad has had very little time to take care of it and it has fallen into a state of somewhat disrepair. It currently runs, but literally looks like a cow. Not kidding, it looks like a cow. In the early 90's some moron keyed the doors on both sides and ruined the paint. My dad and I sanded the car with intentions of getting it resprayed, but hard financial times hit and the car was overlooked for more important things like food and heat. My dad has now given me the car to do what I please with it and I intend to make it the cleanest 87' on the road.

Metro Detroit? No way!! Same here! I just got an FD very recently. We should meet up sometime. We can both be in the low-mileage club... haha. Mine's at 39K miles.

im originally from sterling heights but i never see rx7 or tuner cars around there, just idiots in american SUVs and pickup trucks
