Which generation are you looking to buy? Lots of information and knowledgeable people on here to help you learn and prepare before you go shopping :icon_tup:

FD but I could be persuaded to look at previous generations .

If you have your heart set on an FD, the only real reason to try to steer you to an FC or FB would be your budget........and in that case I would suggest waiting and saving until you can afford one, but be careful not to underestimate the running costs of an FD :nod:

I had an immaculate FB but it was never able to fill the desire I have for FD's.

Yeah, the previous generations are cool, but nothing like the FD. I believe the FD can be bought and maintained relatively cheaply, however it won't be a fast of fancy FD.

From what I've read so far, a huge factor is upkeep and not buying one that's on the brink of failure. I'm away from home at the moment to really delve deep into learning more, but so far I'm really curious as to the pricing . I've been on both Autotrader and Hemmings and have seen prices from 15 to 50k . I guess we'll have to see .

Depends on what you want from the car. If you're going to keep it clean, low mileage and tasteful (not my style) then yes it would. If you're going to heavily mod the car and drive it a ton then you'll likely never see a positive return on what you spend on one of these and should just pick what you like best. Unless you're 6'2 or taller... then you definitely need to go no sunroof. I personally love mine
