This forum has helped me so much over the last four years with my 1980 RX7 race car. Currently running a 12a with Webers and it runs great! Thanks for all the help along the way. I would like to list it for sale here but it appears I have to meet a requirement for a minimum number of posts first. I suppose the reason I haven't joined until now is there has already been enough information out there to help me and I haven't needed to post. I also haven't posted fearing someone might chide me for asking a question that's already been asked and tell me to search the forum archive. Sometimes I wonder if forums like this should encourage re-asking questions rather than discourage it. It seems like that would be a great way to keep forum members engaged and therefore the forum alive and thriving. Also sometimes new information becomes available and the archived post might be out of date. Just a peeve of mine.

Anywho, I'm here now. Attached is a picture of my RX7 at the local coop scale weighing in at 2220 lbs. It's an autocross and track day car that shouldn't be driven in the rain (would leak into the cabin in 100 places). It's a blast to drive, corners like a beast, and is licensed for the street, but it's not really street legal - non functioning headlights, turn signals, wipers, horn, and windshield defrost system. Brake lights work though.

Check out that license plate. I lucked out getting that a few years ago.

Welcome to the forum! I bet that car would definitely be fun to toss around an autocross course! Shame to see that you're considering selling it. I regret selling so many of my 7's over the years.
