New member intro
Hello everyone, I am a college student in southern California looking forward to find a cheap fc to have as my first real project car.
Would you say that working on a an rotary is any more difficult or costly to maintain than a similarly aged piston car? |
Difficult? I wouldn’t say more difficult but it’s apples and oranges when talking piston, vs rotary. Costly only because it will nickel and dime you lol at least from my experience. |

Welcome! Be patient and you can find a good low mileage FC to start from. Lots of good info on this forum!
What's your experience level with other cars? |

What's your experience level with other cars? I do all the basic maintenance on my current daily, a Z3. I've also replaced the brakes and rotors. And last summer I helped my dad replace the transmission in a Ford Explorer. Not terribly much but not nothing :) |
