New member from Indiana
My name is Cory, and i live in fort wayne indiana. I joined this site to learn as much as possible about the car i am buying tomorrow, a 1988 rx-7, 5 speed, natural aspirated. I have spent years owning and modding 4th and 5th generation honda preludes, but lately i have gotten bored with them. A couple of months ago I rode in and drove my friends '89 rx7 and since that day i have been searching for the right car to buy. I found a 1988 with 80k original miles, 1 owner, garage kept. I am going to buy it tomorrow. I am a huge fan of forums so the first this i did was find a rx7 forum! cant wait to learn and meet new enthusiasts! I have enclosed some pics of it. it runs amazing and only thing really wrong with it is the drivers seat is pretty tore up.

And it was exactly what im looking for. Are there a lot of people around here with them?
Welcome to the club and nice looking FC. Here in CA, most FC's you'll see for sale are pretty beat up with high mileage, you're definitely lucky to have what looks like a great starting point to any project you have planned for it!
Thanks you. I have looked at a bunch of different FC's and this is by far the cleanest. Picked it up today and noticed a few things going on with it though. I am hoping it isnt more than I can handle!
one thing that REALLY surprises me is how well the car handles. I am used to preludes with the 4 wheel steering and are known for their handling...this FC puts any prelude i have ever driven to shame! Love it!

Nope :/ there is a guy in my town with two verts though but he's like 40+ and never drives. I think if I can get enough locals into it, I'm going to start car meets every weekend though, not just us rotor guys
