Hey everyone,

I bought my first rotary, a mostly stock but well maintained Sapphire Blue 88' NA convertible last fall. The car sat in storage all winter until this summer when I finally had the chance to enjoy it, although not nearly as much as I'd like due to a busy schedule. I am planning on driving it as much as possible until the weather gets cold here in southern Ontario, then figuring out what to modify/upgrade over the winter. I don't know a whole lot about FC's or rotaries so looking forward to spending some time on the forums and making it even better for next year when I'll hopefully have more time to enjoy it.

Welcome, you'll love the car and before you know it, you'll be wanting to rebuild and port the engine.

Thanks! I got very lucky finding one in good condition. There's a bit of cracking on the rear bumper and a couple small dents and scratches but for a 30 year old car it's definitely in good shape. I think I'm going to try to keep the car looking as clean and OEM as possible since I was fortunate enough to find one that was well cared for over the years. Maybe some S5 tail lights, trim/molding etc but nothing crazy.
