New member - FD shopping

As the title states, I'm a new member here. I've owned a 2003 Mitsubishi Evo for 10 years now, but in the last 3-4 years have lost interest in driving it. It sits in my garage while I use my daily driver instead. Anyway, I'm ready for something new ... I've been a fan of the FD chassis for quite a while now. I've got my Evo for sale, and hopefully after selling it, I'll move into an FD.

I've started shopping around a bit, and doing some of the beginner research into what is needed for these cars. I'm focused on trying to get an R1 or R2, but realize that a base model might be more realistic. The touring doesn't interest me.

Attached is my 2003 BBY Evo. If everything goes to plan, it'll be replaced by an FD soon. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...5caff45204.jpg

Thanks

I feel you on the interest part I have JZ cars and just didnt appeal to me anymore. Then I go my first FD 2 weeks ago and now I am 100% feeling better about cars. Just needed that push.

I'm in a similar boat. Losing interest in my current cars and have been on the FD hunt. Good luck!
