hello to all, picked the FC about 2 weeks ago, not fully new to rotary engines or some of the poeple in this forum. So how i managed to snag this,
originally been a subie guy forever had 2 GC, 2 WRX, then pickled up a cherokee and was hit and jeep was totaled , looking for another GC for the mean time then the one i wanted was sold and none were local. Searched for RX7 and bam found one messaged the dude and wanted to check it out that day. These guys had no idea what was wrong with it at this point they wanted 4700. i drove it and the thing was rough at 2500 to 3000rpm , while i drove it he brought me paper work from previous owner. Told the Mrs i wanted it and asked to take her on a ride, and in the car i told her it's 3 things, dirty injectors, vaccum leak or MAF. she said see how low you can get it.

Drove back talked to the guy i told him i wanted it and he asked me what was my number i said the way it is now 1500 cause im going to have to put work in it, he understood and countered at 2k. So i took it at 2k. Drove it down the street redlining rpm at stops and then filled her up and hesitation went away, as of now im sure the injectors are clogged cause it only happens everynow and then.

anyways had work done by Atkins rotary before him, these guys owned fir 4 months and it sat for 4 years before then by the original onwer. I'm pretty happy with it just needs little things here and there just like any 30 year old car with onlu 103k miles on it on a rebuild
