New here, looking into a nice FD

Hi all, my name is Mikey. I'm an automatic transmission engineer at Toyota in Ann Arbor, MI, for whatever that's worth.

My DD/winter warrior is an IS300 wagon (bone stock with 205,000 miles), and my fun car/project car/girlfriend is a 1987 325e sedan named Courtney, with a home-built turbo setup on a eta block/i head setup, using a "Super 20G" turbo. If anyone's interested, I'll make some more posts about the BMW... it's a labor of love and never fails to make me giggle when I'm behind the wheel. Sadly I spun a bearing in the fall (I think... haven't torn down the motor yet) but I plan on replacing the motor and getting running on the same setup (with maybe more boost - spun bearing wasn't really related to the turbo but rather an oil issue that's since been resolved) in the spring.

Anyway, looking forward to learning more about rotaries from you guys. Please feel free to ask me about Toyota's FWD automatic transmissions, my turbo e30, or what it's like to be dating a car.
