New Guy Here

Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Scott and I have been a lurker for a long time. Always have been infatuated with FD's and finally bought my first from a local guy. It is a '93 Base VR Manual with 110,000 miles. Already has a street port, single turbo, fuel system, and '99 spec front bumper. The interior is a little rough, but hopefully can get it turned around. Really excited about this car and it has always been a dream of mine to own. Looking forward to getting to know some of you.

Scott

Congrats on the purchase. I'm about a week away from bringing home my first FD as well.

Thank you. She is a little rough around the edges and needs some TLC, but for the price I couldn't let her go. Did you end up buying your FD?

Nice an FD with single turbo the previous owner saved you from the twins nightmare. :icon_tup:

Thank you! Definitely going to try. Really trying to find some parts to complete the interior and make it more enjoyable.

Thanks! Really happy with the setup. Afraid the seals might be gone in the turbo though. Getting a lot of blowback in the air filter.

Definitely needs some TLC. Have been working on it off and on the past couple of weeks. A little bit of wet sanding and polishing. The paint has some "seeding" in areas that I am leveling out. Also added a shine CF hood I received locally. Hopefully will have the paint fully corrected this coming up weekend.

Good luck with the TLC treatment.

Do you know the make of those wheels? Been looking at options for far too long...

Thanks, she is getting there. Still haven’t had time to finish polishing the paint and coating it. Not enough time these days and to many other projects coming through the garage.

18” Racing Hart C5’s. Not crazy about them and probably gonna go with something different at some point.

congrats! That looks awesome. I'm holding out for a 1985 GSL-SE. Soon... very soon
