New FC Owner... and Loser

Hey guys! probably not a good way to introduce myself, i recently bought a 87 FC drift car and wrecked it being a retard and a half. Is it worth fixing? everything looks cosmetic and i believe the tie rod and oil pan are busted. The only reason i'm debating it is insurance costs for a salvage title car and repair costs and the fact that its just not really good for anything except for going sideways... very fast. Being in college tends to suck all the time and money you have for cars out of you... anyway the RX-7 was my favourite childhood car, i still have memories of the night i FINALLY beat Darius in Need for speed Carbon with Kenji's RX-7 and no cheats. I'll never forget that my first car was my childhood dream car. (Yes i know Kenji had an FD and i got an FC but whatever i'm poor and love this car.)

Welcome. You will want to remove the sheet metal to inspect the car for structural damage. Based on that you can determine if the car is worth fixing. Its hard to see the entire extent of the damage from the video. I see the car is LS swapped, so I can imagine with the power its making, it would spin on you quickly.

Your video is bad. Like the previous poster said, pull the fenders off and inspect. If everything looks square then replace whatever is bent and take it in for an alignment. If it is out you can take it to a body shop and they can "frame" pull it back into square.

It doesn't look too bad at first but then it looks like you tagged a concrete wall.

I hope you weren't drifting on the street, as you age you'll realize how stupid that is.

The video was all i got before they towed the car away. The frame is straight i made sure of that, it looks bad bc the fenders were flared out pretty wide (+55 i believe). I was not drifting... although i was doing something just as dumb. I fully take responsibility for it, it was a stupid mistake and one i look to not repeat. I overestimated my skill and i bit the bullet for it. Let my mistake be an example for any other young hoonigans, learn from my mistake so they don't have to pay the HUGE price. No matter how good you are at driving having a powerful car with no TCS or any modern controls is sketchy. A patch of road doesn't like you are you're spinning.
