Never meet your idols....

Here from YT due to a member here,Mazzei Formula aka Monsterbox.......

I don’t know how you guys have been so fooled.....

i know several local people who were involved on the building of his car who got stiffed for services......

Im sure all you could build a bad ass car if you were to screw over everyone involved......

the 1st pics taken in the Monsterbox thread where the car was painted/disassembled were at a friend house,Mazzei says he gives credit to all those involved in the build but I don’t see any names mentioned of those that actually helped the guy.

POS doesn’t begin to describe him IMHO.

its a shame that so many people have been fooled by this guy......

That is a serious set of accusations.
I don't know David at all. But I, and so many others here, do know how difficult it would be to complete a build project while screwing over the numerous contributors along the way. Nobody can do it alone and on a project as extreme as David's, it takes a village.. So I'm not saying you're full of it and he's a straight shooter - but I will say the following...

- You've offered nothing more than vague anecdotes with your accusations.
- David has a thread with over 1,700 posts documenting the progression of his build. Which gives a lot of insight into both himself and other project contributors.
- Any one of the people you're referencing, or anybody else, have been free to register on this site the same way you did to express their grievances; yet no one has.

If you're legitimately attempting to play the role of the white knight for the downtrodden; you should rethink your approach.. But if stories about nameless friends of friends having their feelings hurt over not being mentioned as a contributor in someone else's project is all you've got. I don't think you're going to do much convincing.

Posts related to issues with forum members need to be posted in the good guy/bad guy forum. This is an introduction forum for new members. I'm closing this thread as it does not fit the parameters set forth for this forum section.
