Hi there, new to the forums here. This is my rescued 1990 gtu. It was a true p.o.s. when I picked it up. Leaking front cover gasket just spewing oil. But I've giving it quite a bit of love the last couple of years and got it back to running top notch. It was stripped when I picked it up so I bought a parts car (the blue one) with a mint interior and have slowly been swapping it all over. This past week though she finally blew an Apex seal . I have a few options I've been mulling over. Either port and rebuild this motor, import a 13bre, or find a fd motor which is what I really want to do. Anyways, looking forward to learning alot from you guys in this journey!

I don't have any of its history it's got 190k on it so I'm sure the motor has been rebuilt. When I bought it it was painted dark green with like a roller or something. The rear end was all messed up because the dude jumped it and bent the trailing arms into into U's. She was in really bad shape.

 

Sounds like it led a hard life. Was the car white originally?

 

It was red originally.
